Ashley Rawls • MA, LMFT
Ashley received her undergraduate degree in Psychology from Appalachian State University in 2014 and a Master of Arts degree in Marriage and Family Therapy in December 2017 from Pfeiffer University. She has completed a variety of trainings that allow Ashley to incorporate evidence based methods with a holistic perspective.
Ashley works with a variety of individuals and couples of all ages dealing with life transitions, and marriage, parenting or family concerns. Ashley’s dedication to therapy comes from her personal experience with medical and mental health related matters. She has a passion for working with medical related issues, eating disorders and LGBTQIA populations.
Ashley uses a narrative and solution-focused approach when working with individuals and couples and in order to help them better identify their values and skills when working towards therapeutic goals. She focuses on the development of a trusting relationship between herself and the client to accomplish established goals and foster a safe environment for growth.
Certifications: Yoga Teacher Training, Parental Mental Health and currently completing a training to be an ADHD Clinical Services Provider (ADHD-CCSP).
Ashley believes self-care is important and enjoys crafting, gardening, yoga, traveling, adventuring in the mountains, and spending time with family, friends and pets.
