Elizabeth Ratajczak MSW, LCSWA, LCASA
Hi, I'm Liz Ratajczak, a licensed therapist specializing in addiction, mental health, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). With over 3 years of experience in the field, I have helped individuals and families overcome their struggles and lead fulfilling lives.
As an addiction specialist and a person who has experienced addiction and recovery, I understand the complexities of addiction and the impact it can have on one's life. My approach is holistic and individualized, as I believe in treating the whole person and not just the addiction. I also specialize in mental health, including anxiety, depression, and trauma-related disorders.
In addition to CBT and DBT, I utilize EMDR to help clients process and heal from past traumas. EMDR is an evidence-based therapy that can be highly effective in reducing symptoms of PTSD, anxiety, and depression. I also offer an emotional support dog, Mango in sessions who can be an asset in emotional regulation and grounding.
My goal as a therapist is to create a safe and non-judgmental space for clients to explore their challenges, gain insight into their thoughts and behaviors, and develop practical skills to improve their mental health and well-being. If you're ready to begin your journey toward healing and growth, I'm here to support you every step of the way.
